It can be difficult for children to do their homework alone. But they can get help in the library´s Homework Café. There are always adults here who will be pleased to help with homework.
Who can get help ?
The Homework Café is particularly for bilingual children. Children of all age groups can get help.
How is help with homework organised ?
Children and adults have a pleasant time while doing their homework at the Homework Café. Children must take their textbooks and exercise books, etc., with them. There are computers with word-processing programs, pencils and paper, etc., at the Homework Café. Children do not have to register, they simply come here when they need help with their homework.
Who helps the children ?
The Homework Café is manned by adult volunteers chosen by Herning Libraries and the Danish Refugee Council. They include students, retired people, and other adults who want to help children with their homework. Parents are welcome to visit the Homework Café.
When is the Homework Café open ?
Monday from 14.00-17.00.
Thursday from 14.00-17.00.
Where can children get help with their homework ?
At Herning Library, Brændgårdvej 2.
